sad to read about our school being torn down.

Martin just called this morning. Rocke's dad passed away on Friday night. Martin7-17-03: Dear Marsha: Thank you for the video. Thanks to Lexie also for helping. Joyce, Kacey, Josh and I watched it when it came. We really enjoyed it. The kids enjoyed matching the voices and personalities with the faces and names they had already seen and heard. Josh liked Donnell! - Kerry
7-12-03 Kerry, Not all of the graduating class of 73 went to all 12
years at Lancaster, remember us from Downing had to attend Lancaster beginning in 7th
grade, so a monument with that on it would be inaccurate. Cindy Whitlock

School have added another feature to the Web Site: The Senior Spotlights from the
School Newspaper Special Edition, April 13, 1973. Marsha collected aprox $170 in donations
at the last reunion. The money will be deposited in the Lancaster Bank, to be used for our
next reunion, and possibly for a plaque on the monument at the old school. Charlie Beeler,
owner of the old school building is erecting a monument to the old building which will be
palced in front of the gym. The monument will include the "1908" that was above
the entrance to the building. Marsha suggests that we donate money from our funds, and
have a plaque prepared to read:"Donated by the Class of 1973, the last class to
attend all 12 years in this building."Please let us know if you are interest in
placing this plaque.Thank you,Kerry Wilson
Kerry: sounds like a great idea........let me know if I can help

6-11-03: Kerry, I really enjoyed visiting with you on the phone yesterday and appreciate your efforts in helping to make our upcoming class reunion a success. I am certain that you are a very busy man and the time you have spent making telephone call, sending e-mails, and putting together a special web site has been a real sacrifice on your part.I have already checked out your church web site. Praise God for the ministry of Cross Point Church (www.cross-point.net)! How blessed you are to be a part of such a wonderful, growing church family.Could you tell me more about the "Breakfast Club" that meets on Sunday morning? It sounds like something our church might be interested in. By the way. you can check out our church web site at www.pbckansascity.org.Our church is much smaller, but you might find something of interest there nonetheless. I look forward to visiting with you further about your family and church at the reunion. In Christ, Bob Welsh (Editors note: Photos of Bob Welsh and his family arep posted on the Photo Page.)
6-11-03: Kerry, Thanks for the update. I really hate to miss this. It sounds like you all will have a great time visiting. I was impressed with the resumes - but then everyone always said the Class of 73 would go far! Unfortunately, John & I will not be able to join you but look forward to viewing the pictures on the web later. I will actually be in Turkey on Government business while you all are enjoying the party. It's been a busy summer already with trips to Paris and another to Spain on business. Then our trip in Aug/Sep to the States for Rick's 50th Birthday party. (Can the rest of us be far behind!) We will be in states 3 weeks visiting with my mother & Rick in Gorin, Mo; our eldest daughter, Heather & Rick's daughter Brandi in Indianapolis; and our youngest daughter Rachel, son-in-law Rob, and GRANDSON Matthew in Fort Campbell, KY. Rob is carrying on our family tradition of service to our country and we couldn't be prouder of him. Please share this and my best wishes to all. Hannah
Kerry Wilson wrote: Dear Hannah, How are things in Germany? I hope you are fine and well.I have updated our reunion information on our website. I thought you may be interested in who is coming to the reunion, and briefly where everyone is living and what they are doing. Please look at: http://www.kerrywilson.com/classmessages.htm and http://www.kerrywilson.com/classroster.htm
If you have a greeting you would like to send to the class, please email it to me, and I will post it on the message board. I will also print it and display it in my scrap book for viewing at the reunion. Marsha has asked everyone to bring their scrap books and Golden Ram's for display at the reunion.
After the reunion, I will post photos, and highlight the event on the Web Site, so you can view it, and feel like you were there, even though you are miles away. We will be thinking of you and praying for you. We appreciate the job you are doing! I am sure I speak for all of the class.
Your friend and class mate,
Kerry Wilson
