- Instant SR-22's issued in our office. Definition of SR-22: SR-22 insurance is Automobile
Liability Insurance with at least minimum limits of liability limits (24/40/10), with a
certificate filed to the State Drivers License Department. You do not need to own a
vehicle to obtain SR-22. We can write SR-22
"Non-Owner" policies. The price is usually about the same for "Owner"
or "Non-Owner" policies. The price is primarily based on: Age, Sex, Marital
Status, Number of Tickets/Accidents in the past three years (including violations for
Driving While Suspended). Some prices for adult drivers with few or no violations may be
as low as $110 down payment, and $35 per month.
- Courier Service Available to take your SR-22 and Fees to the
State of Alabama, and obtain letter of ELIGIBILITY TO BE RE-LICENSED (D1-12 Letter)
and mail to you within 72 hours, so you can get your drivers license back. Cost for the
courier service is $80.00.
- Here is an outline of the normal procedure for obtaining your license back: 1) Call our
office for a rate, or click HERE, for an instant price
indication.. (Some rates for adult drivers with few or no
violations and minimum liability limits can be as low as $110 down payment, and $35 per
month). 2). Come into our office and complete an application for insurance. We
will immediately issue the "Pink SR-22 Certificate (click here to
see a sample SR-22)". You may take the certificate to the State Drivers License
Department, or we can have it hand carried to the State offices, by a "Courier"
for a fee of $80.00 (in Alabama). 3). Obtain your D1-12 letter from the State, or it will
be mailed to you from the Courier. 4) Present your D1-12 letter to the Driver Examiner to
"re-test" (if a re-test is required). 5). After re-testing, present the
"pass-certificate" to the Drivers License Division at the County Court House, to
apply for a Drivers License, and obtain a Temporary License and Photo I.D. 6). After you
obtain the Temporary License, then bring it to our office, so we can send a copy of it to
the Insurance Company, as proof that you now have a valid license. 7) Your D1-12 letter
will instruct you as to how long the State will require SR-22
certificates to be filed on your behalf. 8) Note: There is usually little or no fee
charged for the actual filing of the SR-22 Certificate. We are
charging for the insurance, not for the certificate. Purchase of insurance is required
though, to obtain a certificate SR-22.

- Insurance sold for residents of the State of Alabama only. SR-22 certificates may be
issued for other states besides Alabama, as long as you are a resident of Alabama, and
applying for insurance and license reinstatement in Alabama. We may be able to assist you
by filing SR-22's for other states, but courier services are available in Alabama and
Tennessee only.
